Teaching methods: presentations, talks, demonstrations, working with educational materials in printed and electronic form, discussions, debates and group work are used within the training. “Demo games” are used, which are a didactic approach to learning about democratic citizenship through play. So that democratic norms, processes and values do not remain abstract in the minds of young people, the developed “demo games” help to absorb complex knowledge in an interactive and engaging way. These games, both board and electronic, motivate, connect and empower youth to actively participate in society. The training also emphasizes project work as a way to apply the learned knowledge in practice and avoid the danger of it remaining only as theoretical knowledge. For this purpose, implemented initiatives and ideas for school projects led by young people from the country and from other European countries are shared. Active participation in simulations, games and real initiatives arouses the interest of young people and contributes to the accumulation of experience as active citizens, bearers of democratic culture.
